I read this book back in 2016 and have gone back to look at it during this season as there are some fascinating insights to how Patrick thinks the world may begin to look as we move forward. I found this book so interesting to understand what culture and life may begin to look like. A few interesting quotes:
'So, if we wish to explore the future, we need to look at how people are likely to FEEL, as well as what they will THINK. The single word that will drive the future is EMOTION....emotional reactions are usually far more significant that events themselves. All leadership has to connect with emotion, which is why robots cannot lead.'
'All leaders have to be futurists. People only follow leaders when they believe in their vision of a better future....the stronger your vision, the greater your leadership will be.'
