Found the story of this incredible leader very inspiring. There were great leadership lessons to learn throughout the book. A few things that stood out to me:
'The pace was hectic, and I constantly reminded myself to keep exercising and find occasions to take a little time off...when you're single, you have to be careful not to be drawn into working every waking moment....there are many things I love to do and years ago I told myself that I wouldn't become a workaholic.'
'The practice of expressing appreciation is particularly important.'
'I would ask because it is important for the folks who help you to know that you care about their families and their lives.'
